What are the new password requirements?

As a staff user, my Password change outside campus through IDMS is successful, but
I am not able to log onto to my Notebook provided by SP.


I have just successfully changed my SPICE password thru IDMS Self service, my SPICE account is locked.

  3. As a staff user, my Password change outside campus through IDMS is successful, but I am not able to log onto to my Notebook provided by SP.

    As a staff user, if you change the password through the IDMS Self Service outside campus, you need to continue to use the old password when you press the 3 keys (CTRL-ALT-DEL) for the SPICE login to the SP staff Notebook outside SP. This is because the old password has been cached or stored at your Notebook previously while you login before the password change. Once you are back to campus, please ensure your Notebook is connected to the wired network before you login usin g the new password.

  4. I have just successfully changed my SPICE password thru IDMS Self service, my SPICE account is locked.

    After successfully changing the password, you also need to make the password change if you store the passwords at the mobile devices, such as iPad, hand phones. For staff user, you also need to logout from SPICE and login again if you are using SP staff Notebook.
